As part of the bankruptcy settlement, I am sure the creditors will insist on selling off the “assets” to the highest bidder. Privacy is not a concern of the courts.
Just like Monsanto, who owns all the genetically modified seeds and will threaten to sue any independent farms that have traces of the GMO from pollen from nearby farms, you do not own your DNA.
A cousin of mine found out he had a daughter after an affair with someone 30+ years ago. The daughter chose to seek him out because she wanted to know who her father was. Let’s just say he is part of the black sheep side of the family and has never made good life choices.
