Hi Everyone,
I just purchased the Blue Iris Software and a WS800 Annke, 10 Camera Wireless System. I guess that I should have done this check at the beginning but this is my third Annke system over the years and now want a computer program to run the system not just from the NVR and bought the best but need confirmation that I have done the right thing, compatibility wise Your input is welcomed. Please post more on the annke system you picked up.
 
I don't think anyone would classify this as the best.

Wifi and surveillance cameras do not go together. Throw BI in the mix and you will get frequent No Signal issues.

These 8MP cameras are on a sensor designed for 2MP and will be very poor at night.

The NVR will still be needed to pass the video to a computer for Blue Iris.

The list goes on and on.

Yeah many of us will say BI is the best bang for the buck.

On the camera side, most of us here are home, not commercial, and we are not using wifi cameras. They are OK for pet watching, not capturing perps.

You will have frequent No signals in BI and likely dropouts whenever motion happens and miss the opportune shot of the perp.
