for me its bit double edged sword. Indoors in small rooms yes, colorvu is great with its onboard LED to capture color details. But outdoors for nightly "observer" IR mode with some artifical light is still better, or you need to light the place up in floodlights which draws a bit more power then...

with such wide requirements, its like 40% of the whole HIK catalog. what resolution do you prefer, variofocal or fixed lens, colorvu or IR and the list goes on...

Wellicht hik/dahua makes acceptabele entry level camera's, but look at axis for example. A goverment wants high quality and no defects as that allways happens when the perps are around 1000 bucks per camera is normal. Axis even makes a 4/3 " 10mp camera, (4:3 image i think) thats almost...

Hi fellow BI users :) I switched to Sense AI on my BI machine with a Nvidia P2000 and by default the timing seems slightly slower then the Mikelud "general" model for only person/car Then i've read about the yolov5x-cls.pt model to be used for faster/higher accuracy determinations. But how do...

some very funky things happening under the hood to push sense AI for some reason. I get all kinds of timeouts to while DS is running fine.

SenseAI integration was way to soon/rushed. No custom models or GPU support is kinda no-no....as those are the basics of good AI systeml. with 5.5.9.2 the delay in direct to wire seems fixed :)

Finally :D. The 1 function i was realy worried about, why force re-encode stuff when you can just pass through the incoming stream. Could be me, but the livestream seems to lagg behind more now too.~14 seconds. With direct to wire off, its like <1 second from the camera config screen OSD time...

probarly overheating. Due to the constant stream of data, those extenders aren't up to the task.

Motion activated floodlights all over the place, and some outdoor stuff is dusk activated lit the whole night

Can't help you with identification of the vehicle, but maybe up the shutter speed a bit for a public road cam, slight motion blur and car doesn't seem to driver that fast ;)
