I ended up ordering a TrendNet NVR to use on the old cams. However, even their own NVR didn't work. It has protocols TrendNet1, TrendNet2, TrendNet3 along with ONVIF. The cam only worked with ONVIF but very frequently lost connection. Done trying to make those cams work.
So frustrating as these cameras would be very handy to have running until I determine what new cams to buy and install. Support from Trendnet said to select protocol Trendnet I or Trendnet II on the NVR. However, the NVR only supports the protocols listed below. Any chance any of the protocols...
We have a building with several of these cameras installed that we would like to get connected to our Hikvision NVR until we figure out what new cameras we are going to put in the building. When I add the camera the NVR says "Stream type is not supported". NVR is a Hikvision DS-96128NI-I24/H...
I did purchase BlueIris a while back but have not used it. :smash: Need to try to find what I did with it and give it a try. I did find an iPhone app that was free and worked quite a bit better for me than their IVMS-4500 app do not surprised software from someone else to you on computer will...
I need to buy a new NVR and cams for our new location. Current location has 30-40 cams and a Hikvision DS-96064NI-I16 with 80TB storage. New location needs about the same setup with slightly more cams.
The DS-96064NI-I16 works fine as far a reliably recording video, but when it comes to...
According to Hikvision, the NVR doesn't support external storage devices. Confused because the manual and datasheet reference "storage extension" shown below. Clueless tech support...
We have a Hikvision DS-96064NI-I16 NVR with 10 x 8TB drives, and about 35 cameras. We need to retain at least 60 days of data. NVR says IP camera connection is 208 Mbps.
We need to find a way to back up the data in the event the NVR is stolen or destroyed. We're also limited due to our...
Stories like this, which are all so common, is a reason there is so much apathy by the general public in the USA about this virus:

I think China is releasing (fabricating) the minimum numbers possible to still maintain a small amount of credibility, ensure enough fear to keep people compliant with isolation measures, and not create a panic in the financial markets. You are not going to only have something like 60 new deaths...
Li's pregnant wife is also reported to be infected. : (
Weird story out that due to public anger story changed to say he is on life support. I have not fact checked this...
@Frankenscript - I don't know if the CFR on this one will follow that path as closely as typical but generally agree with you. Because this one is so contagious, and spreading so fast, I think it can disrupt health care systems to the point that "prompt medical attention" is no longer is...
@Murphy625 - The CFR (case fatality rate) is not calculated by dividing deaths by recovered. The CFR is deaths/infections. As of today:
Govt stats 565 dead / 28,274 infected = CFR 2%
Tencent data (I have no idea if this is real or bogus, but the Tencent infection rate is much closer to Lancet #...
