Good question. Both are inside, but the RevoTech would get some sun for a shortish time in the afternoon, I suspect. When I get time to mount it in it's final location, it'll be out of the sun. Andrew

Thanks. I had already set the iFrame to the minimum which is 1 second. (You are offered 1-30 seconds.) The signal is still being dropped once every minute or two. One thing that seems to at least help is setting the BI "Time Out Period" for "Detect Loss of Signal" to a very short time instead...

I bought a cheap Revotech mini camera (i706-POE-HS-4MP, roughly 2"x"2) and so far I'm not impressed. The video signal locks up every minute or two and I end up getting a "No Signal" message but then it goes back to working again. $35 experiment, I guess. Unless there's some setting I can tweak...

Did you ever figure this out? I just set up a Revotech i706-POE-HS04MP camera. Cheap, but seems to hang very frequently—every minute or two?—where the image won't move and also periodically gives a loss of signal message... not impressed so far... Andrew
