Where is the custom profile stored? I know the default device profiles are in /var/packages/SurveillanceStation/target/device_pack/camera_support but the integration tool doesn't appear to append custom profiles to the conf files there. -

If anyone cares, the intercom eventually failed. I ended up pulling the entire system and switched to using an AXIS I8116-E intercom with my 3CX PBX and some $99 tablets wall-mounted inside the house. Figured it out. You have to assume that the interface was created in an afternoon and never tested. Under VTO Config you need to turn off the switch under "Status" before making changes; otherwise, all changes will be unsaved. The username and password are the same as the web access credentials... -

The answer is that this camera can work properly with Synology Diskstation. I know because I bought one and set it up today. I used the settings for camera model IPC-HDBW5231R-ZE (which I have three of) and the speaker worked even though the 5231s don't have one. I managed to blow out my camera... -
