Can be POE or not, just want some stuff that is reliable. Wyze V3 with RTSP has 1000 signal loses a day. Eufy is far more stable but can't do night vision without the IR lights turning on which annoys toddler.
So I just turned mine MMS alerts back on after having them off for two weeks+ and they are working as of right now. My GMAIL was filled with old errors from the messages bouncing back before.
It's Verizon. I had been getting instant text alerts for over a year without a problem and then it went to crap. It's 100% Verizon. My Gmail server works perfectly so now I have it setup sending emails to itself to test and they never fail.
I have my porch marked as Zone B, everything as Zone A.
My motion alerts will only show AB if the motion is detected in B first and then in A. If the motion starts in A and then continues into B, it only gets marked as A.
What do I need to change for both of these scenarios to be marked as AB?
Thank you both. I'm adjusting the lights and I'll be moving the underdeck light to the backyard to point and the dark area I just made.
I'm also reviewing videos of me walking around. :)
Sucks that all of this can only be done at night.
Thanks. I've been using duct seal for the house penetrations.
So these SJ connectors seal tight on an ethernet cable? Also, do I need to cut the connector off?
I'm getting closer to final config.
This is one $25 light under the camera and three $15 lights. One mounted under the deck pointing down and two other aimed at different parts of the backyard.
Nice improvement for about $100 including extensions and splitters.
Got some fog tonight. Turned the lights on the camera to see how bad it is and the comparison pictures don't lie. All of the external IR are on in both pictures. The first picture shows the fog bouncing back at the camera with its lights on. That fog is also moving around a lot.
Alright, I've done a temp install with two IR lights and turn the lights off that are built into the camera.
One of these about a foot beneath my camera
and one of these shinning off the rear deck to the right building adding light just beyond where the first lights begin to fade. I plan on...
