    Firmware Upgrade—Best Practices.

I normally reset to default rather than factory default to avoid losing my network settings. I decided to follow the steps above and now I have issues since it reset to 192.168.1.1 subnet but the switchport is configured for something entirely different. Unless your cameras are on this...

How to view Dahua cameras without browser plugins

I updated the following cameras and each of them now shows Live view in Chrome and Edge without asking for any plugins, etc. I'm not sure it matters but I did do the System > Default > Default to reset the cam-specific settings (not network settings) to reset before the firmware upgrade. 5x...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

I have AI Tool working well with DeepStack and triggering my HD camera stream; however, it gives me ERROR Could not upload image when trying to use Telegram. I've tried the curl command with the Token and ChatID which allowed my bot to post a message to the chat so it's not that I have the...

Does Blue Iris v4 work w/Home Assistant BlueIrisNVR Add-on?

SOLVED: ... BI was sending updates to HA but when triggered from the context menu or from the AI Windows app the status was EXTERNAL so these are showing under the External binary sensor.

Does Blue Iris v4 work w/Home Assistant BlueIrisNVR Add-on?

I've had BI v4 for several years and never needed anything more but have recently begun to experiment with Home Assistant and found the BlueIrisNVR Add-on. I was able to enter the MQTT details into Blue Iris and connect. BlueIrisNVR detected all my cameras and a bunch of binary sensors...

    Blue Iris UI3

Is there a way to have the UI3 cycle through selected cameras rather than all? Also, I've a few groups I created to group front, side, and back of house together which now causes cycle all cameras to only cycle through these groups instead of individual cameras ... not sure why it won't cycle...

Only 1 of 4 Cameras Capture Fox in Back Yard???

Is the 67% reset related to object detection or do I just lower the object size a bit?

Only 1 of 4 Cameras Capture Fox in Back Yard???

I agree I would be able to rewind the footage and see exactly how he got in but if the motion detection doesn't work properly I would have no idea I had a fox in my yard to begin with. Thankfully I was able to catch him on one camera.

Only 1 of 4 Cameras Capture Fox in Back Yard???

I've 4 cameras in my back yard and only 1 of them caught motion of a fox in my back yard. I'm pretty upset at the moment as I want to know how he got into my fenced in yard since I've dogs which love to be outside in the yard during the summer and now I'm not sure they're safe. Please help...

Thinking about HDW5442TM-AS - looking focal length suggestions - pictures inside

Here’s 2 x 5442’s @ 2.8. This is using the camera icon on Blue Iris iPhone app so I’m not sure how the quality comes across but you can see the wide angle. This is perfect for my back yard as I don’t need facial recognition, although It would probably be halfway decent at the window entries, and...

    HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini i7-6700 ... Connecting External HDD's?

I'm considering to upgrade my EliteDesk 8300 i7-3700 with something newer and love the small footprint of these mini's and they seem to have decent processing power. I've another desktop which runs unRAID for Docker containers related to media storage and would love to have just one computer...
