    The new 5.5.0.X

I'm getting plenty of timeouts so going to roll back.

Suddenly disabled cameras are showing up in UI3. I can't remove them from a Group so the only option is to delete them. Can't add or remove groups for any camera actually.

Just create a user in the BI application and don't give administrator permissions.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

Dave Lonsdale, you also get AI switches today that offer a few DIP switches to enable certain modes. These are great because you don't need to log into them but they offer decent abilities like rebooting a PoE end device if no data transmission is detected or prioritizing video transmission. You...

Blue Iris 4 to 5 Migration Guide

I was about to buy new hardware until I discovered the sub streams in BI5. My 10 year old Xeon (no Quick Sync) was sitting at around 86% CPU with only 8 cameras. If I added any more it would spike to 100%. Since I've configured sub streams I now have 14 cameras and the CPU usage is sitting at...

Thanks, I will follow your advice.

Bi 5 loses license on every reboot

Good point. I don't think so as I bought three licenses from BI directly and the other two systems are fine. I'll check though.

Bi 5 loses license on every reboot

I'm running Windows Server 2016 Standard Version 1607 (build 14393.3504) with BI 5.1.0.0 x64. We have load shedding (scheduled power outages, a third world issue) most weeks and when power is restored and the server boots up again, the BI license is missing and I'm prompted to punch it in. This...

Using Raspberry Pi B+ / Raspbian to view Blue Iris UI3!

Yep you're correct. I had to reload a Pi and everything is as you say. Thanks.

Using Raspberry Pi B+ / Raspbian to view Blue Iris UI3!

Step 1. nano .config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart Step 2. @chromium-browser --start-fullscreen http://192.168.50.20:81/ui3.htm?maximize=1 Obviously change it to suit your BI server address.

Using Raspberry Pi B+ / Raspbian to view Blue Iris UI3!

I respectively disagree with this. I have seven (7) dedicated RPis mounted on walls and for every one I had to install the xscreensaver (and then disable it, odd I know) to stop the screens from going blank. This is across Pi Zero, RPi3 and RPi3+. For the record though, I don't remember if this...

I have four Pi3s each with their own monitor scattered around the house. I just use Chromium that is preloaded. I initially tried with a Pi Zero but the little Wireless chip just couldn't handle more than one camera.

UI3 works like a bomb on my Pi3s. I have four running like this and sometimes I think the wireless is lagging so I'm going to run some Ethernet cables. Bog standard Raspbian with the stock browser. You just have to to install the xscreensaver (and then disable) it to stop the video going to sleep.
