I'm not a fan of the typical IR illuminator designs (see below) - don't like the AC/DC adapters and POE.
And would like something that fits in an existing flood light fixture
Anyone familiar with these or know of a retailer where I could purchase individual bulbs?
850 nm: Infrared LED...
Yeah, that’s what the Google Nest does, and I was expecting the Dahua to do the same, but the Dahua doesn’t. DST is broken on both the Dahua nvr, and on the Dahua cams (I have SD cards in the cams and they don’t show both 1-2 am recordings either)
I think what I’m going to do is just setup the dahua nvr to run on UTC, that way I don’t lose an hour of recording next year in the fall again
Really disappointed that dahua didn’t implement DST properly
So I opened up SmartPSS this morning, and this is what I see for 00:30:00 to 02:30:00:
Looks like I can only retrieve one of the two recordings from 01:00 to 02:00 - and I'm not sure which it is - the first or the second - today is 25 hours long, but SmartPSS is just showing it as a 24 hour...
Get sconces that direct the light down and out, not up - you want the light reflected off surfaces torwards the camera
