Man, I absolutely HATE staying up until 2AM twice a year to adjust my clocks!Remember: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO VIEW THEM AT THE SAME TIME! This creates an endless, time imbalance that can rip the shear fabric of space-time.
Yeah, that’s what the Google Nest does, and I was expecting the Dahua to do the same, but the Dahua doesn’t. DST is broken on both the Dahua nvr, and on the Dahua cams (I have SD cards in the cams and they don’t show both 1-2 am recordings either)This is from a Hikvision NVR when DST ended, last weekend. The hour repeats, and no alerts are lost.
The detail is a bit hard to see.

I guess if you were in some high security facility or somewhere where critical video footage may be needed many days/weeks/months after the fact it might be important. If so, I’d simply pick a time I’m going to change and archive the hour in question beforehand.
For the other 99% if home users, not sure it matters much ?
