    Blue Iris v.5 first thought/impressions

If not already in place, perhaps it would be a good idea in the future to have a beta test period where select people get advance copies of the software to shake out the big things like we are seeing now.

    Blue Iris v.5 first thought/impressions

I was really hoping for a non-web based remote viewer (for the LAN, not across the Internet) that provided all of the functionality of viewing that the main BI UI does. I would have upgraded to get that functionality, without that, there is really nothing I see in v5 that makes it worth the...

    NO MORE SUPPORT!!!

Fenderman, I am also puzzled as to why you are being so defensive with your responses. I don't think anything the OP or myself said would be considered inflammatory or provocative against you or the BI staff. As a matter of fact, the OP asked "What do I do?", he was asking for help/advice...

    NO MORE SUPPORT!!!

I don't think the issue is that he (or I) do not like BI, quite the contrary, it is a fantastic system and as I said previously, nothing in this price range comes close to it. The OP did not say BI magically lost his key. It sounds like he did not deactivate before wiping his system and...

    NO MORE SUPPORT!!!

...not to start a fight here but...Forcing someone to buy a license for something he has already paid for just to get up and running when it would probably take BI all of 5 minutes to reset his activation is what I would call crappy customer service. Also, why not provide the end user a way to...

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

I did that several days ago, and so far, crickets.

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

Unfortunately that was not the problem. The VC2013 runtime was already installed. It was worth a shot, thanks for suggesting it.

I will try it again this evening and then report back the results.

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

    >hmm. Wonder if it is indeed a windows feature that may not be installed on enterprise. The "feature" it says it can't find is "x64" when installing the x64 version of BI. If I try to install the x32 version, then the error message changes and says the "x32" feature can't be installed. Those...

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

The machine was completely updated with no pending updates. The strange thing is, I have installed BI on Win10 previously with no errors. The only difference between then and now is I am trying to install it on Win10 Enterprise, whereas the one that I did a while back that worked was Win10 Pro.

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

I took a look and there is nothing in there. Do you know if BI creates any kind of log that may shed some light on what is going on?

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

The problem is not installing Windows 10, it is installing BlueIris on a Windows 10 machine.

Problem Installing BlueIris on Windows 10 x64

I am attempting to install the latest version of BI (have also tried prior versions) onto a Windows 10 x64 machine. After I have selected the choice for x64 OS and the install begins, I get a popup error dialog box that says "Feature Transfer Error, Component x64 cannot be found" Here is a copy...

4.8.5 - BIG NEWS No movement trigger and New AI integration/update

I am aware of how to do it with the browser. The native interface is much more powerful and quite a bit faster.

4.8.5 - BIG NEWS No movement trigger and New AI integration/update

I know this has been asked for for a long time, but it seems I have not heard anything about it....and that is a stand-alone viewer that can be run on any PC on the network that has access to the BI server files/databases.
