I don't have HIK Connect enabled, but there is an encryption key listed: A123456. So not something that I ever set. Does this mean it is enabled? I'm not getting an encryption warning from VLC or from the DVR Live View page?

Thanks for the comment. Where might I find the encryption setting? I'm not seeing that in the web portal for the DVR? And is there a reason why VLC could work with that but not Blue Iris? The / doesn't matter, still can't see it.

I’d like to use endurance rated SD cards for a backup option. And then also record to our NVR. Can this be setup from the NVR itself? Or do we have to manage to local SD storage camera by camera? If there is a problem with the SD storage, does that show up as a notification on the NVR?
