My dad has some 4k Lorex IP cams, while trying to debug some POE problems he pushed the reset button on them a few times. Now one camera's Reset button is broken, he pushed it in so far and it won't reset anymore. Is there a way to use Putty or something to tell it to reset via software/command...

Looks like that might be it, resetting cameras didn't do it and there doesn't seem to be the light at the POE port. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot this, I guess put back in the old fan and see if it changes? I can't imagine the newer fan (it's a Noctua of the same size) would draw too much...

Yes this is what happened. I tried doing a factory reset in the NVR software, but this didn't solve the problem. Should I try to attempt a hard reset of some sort? I read that some cameras have physical reset buttons if you open them to reveal the circuit board, should I try that? My dad tried...

I suppose it would be better to get these 2 and use them together: 24 port unmanaged switch - no POE for my home network which only needs 10-20 ports and 16-port PoE switch for IP cams

Ah you are right, it's 48 POE ports and 8 POE+ ports. Misread it...

That particular switch only has 8 POE ports not all 48 though. Would it be louder than two separate switches instead?

I'm assuming you had some way of getting it cheaper than the average Joe, but for the rest of us is eBay the place to go to find them? I recall reading a suggestion on here about eBay but not much else.
