I think I’ve got it now. If I’m going to use three different profiles throughout the day, then I’ll have to set up all three profiles for each camera. I was not doing that. I was only setting up one profile and yet still changing the profiles globally during the day. No wonder weird things were...
I’m starting to understand that I may have created a problem for myself. I change the profile throughout the day based on the time of day, so that some cameras don’t trigger any alerts during the daytime. Maybe I’ve been using profile incorrectly.
Maybe I’ve been using the profile part wrong. The part I guess I don’t understand is once you select sync with profile one you don’t ever get an opportunity to change the motion sensor, such as marking certain areas for each camera.
Gwminor48 - nope, I have no exported files. I did that a few years ago when I intentionally replaced my server but no such luck this time.

Bad mother board. So I get a new PC and install Blue Iris. I have my key so all is good there. I have my old hard drive installed in an external USB3 container. I can see the old hard drive just fine. I can not run BI on it of course but is there any way to manually move the camera...
This one seems really odd to me. I have 12 cameras, cam1 through cam12. I can see 11 of them in blue Iris. Cam9 is missing. I can see Cam nine's film clips from motion. But I do not see Cam9 in the live view. I have tried to set up a new cam9 but it tells me that name is in use. On my ipad...
