Wow, I didn't realize I was "pressing" vs "tapping", but you're totally right, if I make it a quick tap it works perfectly. If I "press" (a heavy tap), then it doesn't always register it. Strange, but it works! Thanks for the help!

Thank you! That's exactly what I was hoping. However, I just tested it and it's extremely inconsistent, the presses only register sporadically.

I recently switched from only recording motion events to recording 24/7 using substreams. I cut to 1 hour long chunks, but it's made it very difficult to navigate forward/back a few seconds at a time in the mobile app. I just switched to 15 min chunks to help that out, but still, it's more...

Any idea on tinycam settings to make audio & talkback work? They were working previously with my Amcrest doorbell camera, so I know it's possible.

Are there screenshots or instructions for the proper way to setup this doorbell camera in Blue Iris and tinycam? I haven't been able to find anything surprisingly. I've got video & audio working in BI, but talkback isn't working. And I've got video working in tinycam, but audio & talkback both...

@teammcs Did you see my solution above? I have the AD110, but I'm 99% positive that it's the same issue. You need to disable/uncheck "Setup RTSP back-channel for talk support" in your camera preferences in BI. When that's enabled it inexplicably disables the chime.

@teammcs It's not working because you have the "Setup RTSP back-channel for talk support" enabled in BI. Turn that off and your chime will work again. No idea why this is the case, but it's the same with the AD110.

Any update to this? I'm having the same issue where Blue Iris won't fire a web request to my Homeseer server.

HTTPS with stunnel using the old method (self-signed certificates) is no longer working after the recent BI app update. You'll need to switch a fully signed certificate or use a VPN. If you want to go the certificate route, you can use this guide here! szanzibar/autocerts.

I use tmobile as well (through metro) and that's lame, haha. I'm not going to switch carriers to get it to work though, so maybe I'll try wireguard.

I actually already use Ubiquiti UniFi, and tried to use their built-in l2tp VPN setup, but it is EXTREMELY slow, so now I'm thinking of doing a wireguard rasberry pi?

In response to andre_x, apparently the new app doesn't allow using "self-signed certificates" which is what most of us use with Stunnel. Can anyone tell me the best solution to get mobile access to blue iris back up and running when away from home? This has been pretty low on my priority list...
