Reolink Wifi Doorbell Setup in Blue Iris and Tinycam - Help!

Any idea on tinycam settings to make audio & talkback work? They were working previously with my Amcrest doorbell camera, so I know it's possible.

Reolink Wifi Doorbell Setup in Blue Iris and Tinycam - Help!

Are there screenshots or instructions for the proper way to setup this doorbell camera in Blue Iris and tinycam? I haven't been able to find anything surprisingly. I've got video & audio working in BI, but talkback isn't working. And I've got video working in tinycam, but audio & talkback both...

Amcrest AD410 Doorbell - NOT compatible

@teammcs Did you see my solution above? I have the AD110, but I'm 99% positive that it's the same issue. You need to disable/uncheck "Setup RTSP back-channel for talk support" in your camera preferences in BI. When that's enabled it inexplicably disables the chime.

Amcrest AD410 Doorbell - NOT compatible

@teammcs It's not working because you have the "Setup RTSP back-channel for talk support" enabled in BI. Turn that off and your chime will work again. No idea why this is the case, but it's the same with the AD110.

no longer able to send web request

Any update to this? I'm having the same issue where Blue Iris won't fire a web request to my Homeseer server.

On Alert Web Request not Firing at Trigger

Anybody have a solution for this? I'm trying to fire a web request to my Homeseer server using this URL from Blue Iris: 192.168.1.99/JSON?request=runevent&group=Blue%20Iris%20Triggers&name=Twins%20Room%20Camera%20Motion It works fine when put into a browser, but nothing happens when testing it...

    iOS WAN Connection Issue

HTTPS with stunnel using the old method (self-signed certificates) is no longer working after the recent BI app update. You'll need to switch a fully signed certificate or use a VPN. If you want to go the certificate route, you can use this guide here! szanzibar/autocerts.

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

My friend put together a guide that worked great in getting my stunnel back up and working with a full-chain certificate. Just follow the guide here: szanzibar/autocerts. I chose not to go the VPN path as it would have required an always-on VPN which I didn't want to deal with (though may try...

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

I use tmobile as well (through metro) and that's lame, haha. I'm not going to switch carriers to get it to work though, so maybe I'll try wireguard.

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

I actually already use Ubiquiti UniFi, and tried to use their built-in l2tp VPN setup, but it is EXTREMELY slow, so now I'm thinking of doing a wireguard rasberry pi?

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

In response to andre_x, apparently the new app doesn't allow using "self-signed certificates" which is what most of us use with Stunnel. Can anyone tell me the best solution to get mobile access to blue iris back up and running when away from home? This has been pretty low on my priority list...

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

@GaryOkie, yeah still gets the username/password prompt the first time.

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

Unfortunately not, I don't see any type of responses in the logging that it does. However, even in my browser it prompts me to enter the username and password separately when going in with it in the URL. Man, this stinks, it was working so well!

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

@GaryOkie, the "admin:password@" method you gave me unfortunately stopped working. It worked the first day, but now it's still asking for a username/password in a message that pops up when trying that link, causing my automated system to fail unfortunately. Any idea why that would be happening...

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

Blue Iris alerts/push notifications. I don't use the Amcrest app at all (in fact I've blocked all my cameras, including my doorbell from being able to access the internet).

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

You are fantastic, thank you! This fixed literally every complaint I had with the doorbell! Something else I recommend that has worked very well for me: My doorbell got tons of false alarms due to it being able to see the street, so I turned off motion detection for the doorbell cam in blue...

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

Thanks! That worked great for me @GaryOkie, but is there anyway to put username & password into the URL to eliminate the need to login? I'm trying to build an automation in webcore to turn WDR off & ForceOn the IR light every day at sunset and then reverse it at sunrise (because I have a similar...

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

Just want to post something that I just came across in regards to using the Amcrest Doorbell with Blue Iris. If you enable "Setup RTSP back-channel for talk support (PCM-U format)" in Blue Iris in the doorbell's network config settings, then your chime won't work! I tried everything, including...

Stunnel Configuration - Address already in use (WSAEADDRINUSE) (10048)

I've come across this problem several times as well and it's caused by launching the stunnel GUI when the stunnel service is already running. Just stop the service and then start the GUI again and it should work just fine (remember to stop the GUI before launching the service). Another note for...

    Rich Notifications

Just wanted to update that I've got rich notifications working perfectly on android with stunnel installed (not using a custom certificate from zerossl, but am forcing stunnel back to TLS 1.2). For me the problem was that the external ip listed in the web server settings wasn't updated, that's...

Blue Iris secure session & keys vs stunnel?

I access my Blue Iris server remotely often, usually from work, somtimes from 4G (via android mobile app). I also control my BI via SmartThings with an integration that changes the profile based on my home profile. I recently set up HTTPs via Stunnel and it broke my SmartThings integration. I've...

    Loving my new POE Switch!

Man, I wish I had gotten one of these earlier, I wasted so much money on individual poe adapters (the tp-link ones for $16) and they made my utility closet a mess of wires. I got the BV-tech 10/100 switch first thinking that it was gigabit (because it has gigabit uplink), but then ended up...

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera-Varifocal

I've got all my cameras on POE+ (POE Switch). Does that mean I should be fine as far as power consumption goes? Could I run my camera and 2 CMVision IR-40's on 1 POE line?

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera-Varifocal

I wish I could change the position, but there's already a hole above my garage where the camera is mounted and I'd rather not make another one, haha. As for IR illuminators, are there any that are more minimal and not super ugly looking? Are there any that could be powered by the same POE cable...

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera-Varifocal

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera-Varifocal

Yeah, ours are controlled by a z-wave light switch hooked up to smartthings, but it's still possible for someone to accidentally override it unthinking.

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera-Varifocal

I just got the 2231RP-ZS from Andy's amazon store and am super impressed with the low-light ability, but I'm running into 1 problem: the IR light on this is extremely directional and ends up making a bright spot at night and making the surrounding area too dark. If I turn off the IR light...
