It works nice ! In Smart PSS counting, what is "live" count (other than enter and exit) ?

People Counting -> rule type= In Area No. I suppose it is intended for counting the number of persons inside drawn area per unit of time. Once area is drawn and saved , I can't get "in Area no." rule to choose from in REPORT section , just People Counting rule. Is it right or a bug ?

Just playing with HFW5442E-ZE people counting feature, very nice. I thought the report export was of some sort of data, while actually just a graph image is exported... Any way to get numerical data export ?

Thank you for informations ! I worked with Brickstream cameras, I think DS-2CD6825 has the same principle but all them are very pricy devices. Can you suggest a 200 to 400 € series 7 bullet camera that fits my raw in-out gate people counting with acceptable error margin ?

New to people counting world Does these cameras need a dedicated proprietary NVR / Software to act as people counting device ? Or can it be done stand-alone storing info in standard form (numbers, strings, database) using standard protocols (ftp, smb, etc.) ? Thanks

Is there any workaround for the 8003 sip auto answer ? Direct sip call is refused, any other way to call it with a video sip phone in order to have camera view displayed ?

Honestly... despite 8003 is a good product, i recently tried the Fanvil i62 model (for those who like to play with SIP devices) It's another story... no ivms-only configuration (good old browser config), no "new firmware" that fix a thing and breaks two like 8003...

You know... We are talking about a big company producing and selling millions of cameras worldwide, with many new models per year, so they surely don't care about old HW/SW issues (and browsers are changing quickly, mostly in security perspective). Need something working and safely ? Buy new...

Don't know if you are referring to dahua-hikvision as low-profile products or browser-view as a low-profile solution, probably I wasn't clear. Today you still need a plugin-mode to configure an HikVision NVR , or simply browsing recordings in NVR Actually I have hardware but it is useless...

Firmware updated, so password reset OK with tftp method on NVR too (usb to serial TTL adapter needed). I saved 90€ and learned something more today.
