Zero Tier remote access to Blue Iris

Is there a video re connecting Blue Iris to Tailspin as there are several about connecting BI to Zero Tier?

    Zoom In and CENTER w/BI5?

THAT FIXED IT! OMG, thank you BP (and all others who weighed in of course)! I would never have thought of that. I admit, I DO like to use that feature if I see something suspicious to zoom in an move the cam to keep the activity in view, and would've hated to be with out it. Count that as...

    Zoom In and CENTER w/BI5?

Thanks Mike, et al. for your help and thoughts. Hey, between Covid and the Ukraine, this is entirely a first-world problem so if it doesn't get fixed, well, that's OK.

    Zoom In and CENTER w/BI5?

Yes, I'm using a very standard Logitech M510 mouse with a top wheel. I saw -- and thank you for the print-screen -- the "Use mouse wheel for digital zoom" button IS checked. I tried to troubleshoot that by unchecking it, and rechecking it, and logging out and logging back in - the whole gamut...

    Zoom In and CENTER w/BI5?

Bizarre. It certainly still works in the CLIPS that have been recorded -- I'm able to "grab" the image and move it around; but I am still unable to do the same with the live shots. Perhaps it's some setting that is or isn't checked. I'll wait for some more thoughts but evidently I do now...

    Zoom In and CENTER w/BI5?

This should be extremely simple. I finally upgraded to BI5 from BI4. I noticed in the live shots of my cameras, while I can still zoom in, I can't move the view around so that I can see a zoomed-in object. If there's, say, a vehicle in the upper right-hand portion of the screen at 100% view...

Zero Tier remote access to Blue Iris

After using BI4 for 4-5 years, I finally installed BI5 yesterday -- didn't want to fix something not broken. However, I'd NEVER been able to successfully figure out how to view my cams on my phone from when outside the home or traveling. With the new BI5 I frustratingly tried port forwarding...

Viewing Clips from Non-Traditionally Named Folders?

I have seven cameras that send video clips to the default array of folders with more or less the default storage, retention and deletion parameters: G/Blue Iris/Alerts G/Blue Iris/Clips G/Blue Iris/New G/Blue Iris/Stored However, I've also added another folder from which I've copied certain...

Great. Thank you very much; I'll seek him out.

HV ColorVu DS-2CD2347G1-L(U) Turret - Not Available in 2.8mm Lens?

Arjun: Who is Andy and why or how would he know? On the other front, I did just get off the phone with B&H; they would order that camera as a special order (2.8mm WITH the audio) for $214. I'll probably go with them -- they sell them branded/from Hikvision and told me to be careful about...

HV ColorVu DS-2CD2347G1-L(U) Turret - Not Available in 2.8mm Lens?

I'm seriously considering purchasing the above intriguing camera (I have 7 Amcrest cams presently). Hikvision sells it in 2.8mm, 4mm and 6mm lenses but I cannot find it anywhere in the desired 2.8mm lens, only a 4mm lens. Would anybody know if it's available in the 2.8mm? I'm happy to call...

Same HV Cam $313 on B&H and $150 on Amazon?!

"'I SEE,' said the blind man...!" Thanks everybody for your valuable insights and the education. - Mike

Same HV Cam $313 on B&H and $150 on Amazon?!

I have many Amcrest cameras but keep hearing Hikvision cams have better night vision. Curiosity peaked, I found an article on the web that compared the two companies, and comparable cameras: 1. Hikvision's Hikvision DS-2CD2085G1-I and 2. Amcrest's IP8M-2496EB. (ultimately, they gave the...

Amcrest UltraHD 4K (8MP) Outdoor Security IP Turret PoE Camera, 3840x2160, 164ft NightVision, 2.8mm Lens, IP67 Weatherproof, MicroSD Recording (128GB)

Congrats on that great price! Otherwise I totally agree. I actually just installed my Amcrest IP8M-T2499E a few hours ago and love the daytime view I saw on BI, not to mention the bonus audio which surprisingly picks up a lot). Now that it's later and dark here in California I'm noticing that...
