    Hello!

What I understand is that most sellers offer inferior products intended for the Chinese market with hacked firmware. This Andy offers the same product you can buy at retail but without logos, and also use the standard non-Chinese firmware.

    Hello!

Hi, I've read some people like Reolink cameras a lot, especially the RLC-420, but around here most people say avoid Reolink What is so bad about them? Do they have bad image quality? Poor low light performance? Buggy firmware?

    new from TX

You already state you use (will use?) a NanoBeam to connect the shop to another building, but you need something to connect and power the cameras. Since you're already using Ubiquiti I'll suggest the NanoSwitch: Ubiquiti Networks - NanoSwitch™ Weatherproof and rated to work at high...

Hikvision camera wont show link/communication (at the switch)

Try with 12v power to the camera and another switch. Try resetting the camera to factory defaults. If that doesn't work the network ports on the cameras may be damaged.

    Hikvision IPC Firmware 5.5.0 - released 24 Sept 2017

Hello, This thread is quite old and the 5.5.x firmware must've matured by now. Is still there a reason not to use the 5.5.x firmware or a reason to stay on or downgrade to the 5.4.x firmware?

Hikvision - IR reflection (dome camera) ??

I recently installed two dome cameras, one of them needs the IR light at night to grab anything usable, and I found the same problem you did with horrible IR reflection in the image. The camera is new, but probably the glass for dirty during installation. I'll try to clean it and try again tonight.

    DS-2CD2122FWD-ISB vs DS-2CD2122FWD-IS

Hello, Yesterday I received my first 3 cameras and PoE switch, and went on to fire them up and configure them after work.
