Try going to this link. You can send your info over and they will send you a key xml file to reset your Hikvision. Worked for me.

Try using the Forgot Password on the browser's GUI... try it there.. otherwise, you'll need to go through the support online.. it usually takes a day or two... they don't work weekends, only for enterprise customers.

If you do a reset on the camera, it resets to factory default to "Plug-n-Play" and the IP will use the password from the NVR. This is how I did it in Hikvision cameras. It worked like a charm. After that, I upgraded FW on both the NVR and cameras from my respective products at Hikvision...

You need Chinese version to do the FW upgrade/update. Please check instruction before downloading FW to ensure that it has Chinese version (allows to switch back to Chinese from English).

That's correct. I tried everything. No responses or actions taken when pressing those various buttons. Only way to get it back up is unplugging power cord, wait 5 min or so, then it come back on. Definitely a faulty monitor. Damn.. one thing after another.. :-(
