Android Streamer boxes to view CCTV Android Apps

Sorry for the bump Was wondering if anything current ( 2019 ) will stream Hikvision app or equivalent app decently to an HDMI port on TV using an android based device? Or maybe a Mini NVR? Links would be appreciated. I have several customers wondering if this would work, however I don't need...

Sub-stream "camera does not support function" issue

Using a rebranded Hikvision NVR Hunt HNR-P51P6-32 (V3.4.96 171128) 16 on board poe up to 32 ip cams, with Hunt 6mp turrets and they work fine. Had to get Hikvision branded 2cd2163G0-IS-2.8 from another supplier due to inventory issue assuming there would be no problems. Using the plug and play...

Dahuas Nvrs stop Booting same day

Had a customer DAHUA 8 chan HDCVI unit hacked on Sept 30, at least that's when log indicated tampers on all the cameras and customer couldn't log in. Had to connect monitor to HDMI port to look at it. Checked it on 10/6 and sure enough static was set to an odd static scheme which would not...

Ceiling LED Lighting causing banding to Hikvision IP 2MP Cam

Tried both 50 and 60hz with worse being 50hz. Put cam at 25fps and did some checking over the last few days and determined that a certain time of day with sun coming in tinted doors exacerbates the issue. Not too worried since they aren't open when the issue is most pronounced.

Ceiling LED Lighting causing banding to Hikvision IP 2MP Cam

I appreciate the response:), will switch dimmer to regular switch to see if it makes a difference. I will also note if bands are there before direct sunlight hits the lobby in late afternoon.

Ceiling LED Lighting causing banding to Hikvision IP 2MP Cam

Present job in Doctor's office, all cams installed and working fine with fluorescent lighing. Added final cam in lobby which has Recessed LED can lights with 110v Lutron Diva Dimmer and it puts bands on camera image which I haven't experienced before luckily since most installs are outdoor...

    1 to 4 PoE Extender

Never thought of it this way but makes sense. So by plugging in one of these 1 to 4 poe extenders or a simple 1 to 2 poe extender into an existing poe port on let's say a Hik NVR 16 chan machine with 8 poe ports, it will address the new cameras just like it always does under camera management...

Time 1 hour behind on 2 of 4 cameras while using NVR

Actually you can connect to each camera via the NVR if you go to Network Tab then "advanced" then check the box "virtual host" if it is there. Under camera management you will most likely now see the port to use on the local network using the ip address of the NVR plus the port. Usually...

Time 1 hour behind on 2 of 4 cameras while using NVR

I have had same issue develop recently at a customers home with Hik 16ch TVI with 1 Hik IP cam connected via a POE inserter. The DVR has correct time but the IP is off by an hour. Used the pool.ntp.org ntp server, had the local supplier tech support guy log in to check things out. He fixed it...
