I think the night vision is good, but then I use a polarized lens cover back and front to get rid of the glare off the windows, reflections etc. Much better. The computer app is great too, you can plug in your SD card and it shows where you have been on a map, your speed, latitude and longitude...

Yes it is connected to the internet Am thinking if its worth considering another DNS server for reliability. I am computer challenged and fumble my way through.

This might be obvious but did you reboot camera back to defaults but keeping IP info etc. I did and it has seemed to work for now

well my Hik Dome DS-2CD2135F-IS crashes repeatedly and starts back up. Pain in the butt I have re-booted and turned off all functions. Reset to basics. Still happening It wont even connect to IVMS-4500hd or directly through router most of the time.

Yes After finally getting access to my HIK NVR after settings changed by itself, I a trying to setup HIDDNS in the NVR but keeps saying CONNECTION FAILED and wont save. WTF I went online to www.hik-online.com and it wont let me login either. Can anyone help Is something wrong with hikonline

Thankyou very much I do not now why all of a sudden things changed I know the wife turned off the unit (at the wall) as it was in the spare room and guest thought it was loud. Now to try and figure out how to get the settings back

Hi nayr I just thought the firmware was impressive compared to something similar which is in the $2000 region, as opposed to $400 for this. I would like more info on the system before i commit to it though.
