Hi All
My Hikvision NVR just stopped allowing me to view on IVMS4500HD
It started beeping whilst connected to the router, so I switched it off for the last month or so til I could be bothered playing around with it.

I can connect to the cams direct
The Router still has the info for the NVR
SADP tool recognises the NVR, but under a different IP address 194.168.0.64 and ip4 gateway is 0.0.0.0 and MAC address as 1 letter different
cant access nvr at all.

Tried to load pic but that didn't seem to work

linked the data cable directly to a laptop, no go their
Not sure what I'm doing wrong
Oh and Im not that good on puters.

cant access nvr at all.
By what methods?
Assuming your PC is wired to your switch or router - ie not on WiFi :
Try setting your PC IP address to something in the same range as the NVR, say 192.0.0.128
Then with the browser try to connect to http://192.0.0.64 and see what happens.

Thankyou very much
I do not now why all of a sudden things changed
I know the wife turned off the unit (at the wall) as it was in the spare room and guest thought it was loud.
Now to try and figure out how to get the settings back

Are you saying that you can now access the NVR via the browser?

The first thing to do is to change the IP address back to what it used to be, either via the web GUI or using SADP.
You may have to use a default password - 12345, 123456789abc, or even go through the 'Activation' process.
Then you can restore your saved device configuration file and get it back the way it was ...
