Thanks Tone308. I recall this when I had the older version of the NVR. However I now have Hikvision NVR 4.0. It looks like they've removed this option unless it's moved somewhere else? Do you know if the Hikvision NVR v4.0 offers the show camera password option?

Found on the NVR it has Default IP Camera Management set to a password. I can't recall what it was but the ones I know don't work. I have since retyped a new password and eventually was able to login, so I assume the NVR eventually override it when I applied a new default ip camera password. So...

Thanks Stewart. Note it's actually a 4MP camera, I was wrong. Definitely DS-2CD2342WD-I BLC and WDR are both off anyway. I will try changing the White Balance settings tonight - it's currently set to AWB1 at the moment.

Unfortunately not. Am using firmware V3.4.82 build 160810. Serial no is KEPLER-7608 / 8P0820160926AARRxxxxxxxxxWCVU so it's region RR Just spoke to the local distributor to ask for a copy of the firmware and his reply was they don't have a copy as it is done in the factory from Hikvision. :-(

Well that's a shame. So has anyone had a Kepler NVR that is essentially a Hikvision rebranded and have successfully updated the NVR firmware? I can confirm via serial number it is not the Chinese version.
