I had to do that process 3 times, but IT WORKED! The camera is back up and seems to be holding steady. Thanks all!

I did shutoff poe before pluging in the power adapter, I have not tried a factory reset. I will hunt for said button and press it.

I found a 12V 4A power supply and tried that over the weekend. The behavior is the same. I'm guessing that means whatever is wrong is internal.

I don't remember to be honest. I can hunt around and see if I did and if I kept it and can find it. The Ifs are piling up!

I'll see if I can dig up an end you put on my desktop power supply to check this.

The outside cameras had there own poe+ switch. So I've at least been able to check two different switches and two different patch cables with the same result. I'll give the camera rj45 jack a good cleaning and see if I get my camera back.

There's no getting a wire without some drywall removal, and I have no spouse approval. :) If one of the beloved companies makes what I need before I whittle down the better half's resolve, all the better. If not, eventually I'll get a wire.
