    [SOLVED] Problems with Dahua SD49225T

I found a 12V 4A power supply and tried that over the weekend. The behavior is the same. I'm guessing that means whatever is wrong is internal.

    [SOLVED] Problems with Dahua SD49225T

The outside cameras had there own poe+ switch. So I've at least been able to check two different switches and two different patch cables with the same result. I'll give the camera rj45 jack a good cleaning and see if I get my camera back.

    [SOLVED] Problems with Dahua SD49225T

Bad news, I brought it down and plugged it directly into my mikrotik switch. It's pulling 10-13W but its still not letting the controls work and the stream keeps dying. The contacts looked great, and in testing I just grabbed a 6ft patch cable, I guess its starting to look like a...

BI install or NVR, trying to plan a system

I need some advice on setting up a camera system for my grandmother. I'm thinking I only need 5 cameras: 1. Back porch 2. Back Yard 3. Driveway 4. Front porch 5. Garage (inside) I imagine that 2.8mm, 2 or 4 MP starlight cameras would be best for everything except the driveway camera. I...

    Need a Porch light camera

I'm not even remotely interested in that device, it requires an app and service. I was just hoping for an equivalent that would work with Blue Iris.

    Need a Porch light camera

I have a double boxed brick house with a poured porch. The roof is pitched so that I can't get easily from the attic crawl space to the porch area. The solution, if I can't get a wifi porch light and camera bundle, is to: cut a hole on the inside use a installer bendable drill bit to go...

    Need a Porch light camera

There's no getting a wire without some drywall removal, and I have no spouse approval. :) If one of the beloved companies makes what I need before I whittle down the better half's resolve, all the better. If not, eventually I'll get a wire.
