I did shutoff poe before pluging in the power adapter, I have not tried a factory reset. I will hunt for said button and press it.

I found a 12V 4A power supply and tried that over the weekend. The behavior is the same. I'm guessing that means whatever is wrong is internal.

I don't remember to be honest. I can hunt around and see if I did and if I kept it and can find it. The Ifs are piling up!

The outside cameras had there own poe+ switch. So I've at least been able to check two different switches and two different patch cables with the same result. I'll give the camera rj45 jack a good cleaning and see if I get my camera back.

Okay, so I've got enough money for 2 cameras. One for the backyard and one for the porch. Are the 2MP starlights still the best possible camera? I want one PTZ for the backyard, and one fixed(or varifocal) for seeing the entire back porch.
