I also use 8000 for the ports, but I have tried many ports with same bad results. Sometimes it works initially, then locks out later...after days or weeks. I can get mine back with hard-reset. This is a known issue.

It happens on my bullets, turret, and cube. 4 different firmware versions including the latest. (all firmware as purchased, not upgraded)

This ended up locking my cameras. I had to hard-reset. I guess I was surprised the BI button even worked to switch the IR lite. From the camera admin screens, if I make a change to the IR settings, I am asked to reboot to set the change. Maybe this is the BI problem?

No, can't find a solution, only workarounds. Found other people asking same question without answers. Guess it's a Hikvision thing...

:) So, I happened across the "light bulb" icon that turns the IR on/off. Clicked it, and surprisingly it works with all my Hikvision cameras. But, now the IR no longer goes on/off automatically with the night/day settings in the cameras. I need to hit the BI "light bulb" icon in the morning...

I want it them to stay synced always. Besides, I stopped using the Hikvision software for one BIG reason... IVMS (client software and app) battle with your camera settings. If you open certain screens or menus, they can sometimes change your camera settings...very frustrating.

forgot a question: 4. Is there a way to sync all camera times to BI server time? (For some reason Hikvision cant seem to get it together with NTP.)

ok, so I have been playing with BI for a few months. Great software, fits my needs. I am using mostly Hikvision cameras. I saved up a few questions now that I've been through the learning curve: 1. I have a 2TB Purple drive and need to at least double that. Will BI work well if I RAID 0...
