Playing audio from a Geofence event

Just an update,.. disabling the audio through RDP session seemed to have resolved the issue. Who'd have thunked that one? @TonyR thanks for guiding in that direction.

Playing audio from a Geofence event

Oh ok,.. odd,.. not convenient to go console immediately, will try adjusting the audio settings of the RDP session and see what happens next time, maybe it'll do some wizardry.

Playing audio from a Geofence event

Not really,.. mostly check things via the mobile app and UI3 via the browser. And RDP on to update to the next version as needed.

Playing audio from a Geofence event

Hi all, I have a mobile connected to my BI installation and have configured Geofencing for it,.. am also using VPN. VPN work fine with the app on the iPhone. I have it configured to play a WAV file on entering the Geofence,.. and it used to work fine. Am unsure what's broken it, or when it...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Odd thing is that it was there before I clicked Auto. Pretty sure that a schedule was also there when Timing was selected. The Timing radio button is now greyed out and unclickable, which was unexpected.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I had uploaded this firmware a little while back and the motion sensing to turn on LED was working fine back then. However, I decided to leave the LED off as I was getting adequate view without it. This evening, I went to have a bit of a play and tried to turn on the LED and after clicking...

    VPN noob looking for clarification/help

That might not be strictly correct. I'm not familiar with the setup on the Asus. There are options to either pass all traffic, or some traffic back your OpenVPN server. Think the option of 'Both' on the screenshot above might indicate that. With my setup, I've 'published' the network, (subnet)...

    VPN noob looking for clarification/help

The 'VPN Service' is just a mechanism to funnel your outbound traffic via a 3rd party's services, yeah it'll be encrypted traffic, but won't help you get into your 'home' network without your OpenVPN configuration. Subscribing to a VPN service has nothing to do with getting into your 'home'...

    Blocking WAN access

Chances are your cam is connecting to your phone after they do some sort of handshake between an 'intermediate service' to figure where your phone is. Are you able to block outbound access for the cam itself ?

Audio settings for BI5 different for firmware versions of the same cam?

One thing that caught me out the other day was changing the setting below to 'Video&Audio' rather than the default of just 'Video Stream'.

    Route command help (windows)

Looks like you've told your computer how to reach your camera, if you're going to leave the addresses as is, then your camera needs the same the other way. You could either do what ST suggests, or re-address your computer temporarily as SY suggests to be something on the same network segment as...

    PTZ Questions

I have a shitty PTZ which Ihaven't put anywhere; just toyed with it a little when I got it with the view of putting it somewhere when I got some time,.. I'd be interested in a few bullet points of how the need described by OP could be done via BI5 schedules ? Heck it may be straight forward if I...

    Hik-Connect will NOT go "online"

So what subnet is your internal range then ? is it 192.168.254.0 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 - guessing not. As you 'made' your computer see that range, your router also needs to be made aware of the range. Not sure if you can multi-home your router's internal NIC. Are you intentionally...
