    No stock for months!?

Thanks, Mike! I'll keep an eye out for them since I'm not quite desperate for new cameras right now.

    No stock for months!?

Looking to pick up a few more turrets (IPCT-HDW4830R-I), but it's been out of stock for months. Will these be restocked or are they discontinued?

Prefect! Thank you, Mike! Now that I know it works perfectly with my existing hikvision cameras, I will be ordering more very soon!

    Adding Camera to Hik-Connect?

Hey. No problem! Yeah. Either connecting to the camera or remote in would work. What's generally a good day/time for you? You're on the east coast? I'm okay if we need to wait till after mother's day weekend. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mike, Could you give me a hint about what I might be missing trying to get my IPCT camera...

Hi Mike, Could you give me a hint about what I might be missing trying to get my IPCT camera connected to Hik-Connect? I created a thread in the IPCT forum, but it got moved to the Hikvision forum. Is there anything unique with the IPCT camera versus stock Hikvision? My existing cameras are...

    Adding Camera to Hik-Connect?

It looks like I can login to Guarding Vision website with my Hik-Connect login and it sees all of my existing cameras. But I can't add my new camera because the Platform Access tab still shows "offline."

    Adding Camera to Hik-Connect?

I'm running a few Hikvision cameras (no NVR) and I view them with iVMS-4200 at home and the Hik-Connect app on my phone. I just received my HDW4830R-I and I can't seem to add it to Hik-Connect. I want it to show-up along side my other cameras. Am I missing something? Under Settings -> Network...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Thanks. If your chime isn't getting enough power, you probably need a higher resistor value, not lower.

I just checked and it does not include a resistor. Are you sure you have an RCA? The user manual (see image) has a complete list of everything in the box, which is fully accounted for. What wattage?

RCA. I don't recall the resistor, but I will check tonight.

No, I have not. What value did you use? I'll have to try.

My RCA V1.4.62 Build 171127 doesn't play the "unavailable" message. But my brand-new mechanical door chime is buzzing like crazy.

I also submitted feedback through the Hik-Connect app a few days ago. I'm not holding my breath. This is the biggest disappointment for me because it makes the video doorbell pretty much only slightly better than a dumb doorbell button and a separate camera (which I already had) most of the time.

How do you do that? You mean the motion detection notification? If so, do you get a lot of false alerts? I was planning to turn off motion notification. Wish the doorbell notification was just like the motion.

I ended up buying the RCA version anyway and mine does not seem to have that subscriber-not-available announcement. I upgraded the firmware using Hik-connect and it's at 171127. But the problem is that when someone presses the doorbell, Hik-connect (Android) pops up and the "ringing" sound...
