Hi all, Just curious to know which settings take precedence? I have a resolutions, frame rates etc. set in both the cameras and the NVR the same however upon restarting the NVR, some random settings are back to the default - mainly frame rate. The original setting is still in the camera...

Well there is definitely a full time line there. It just appears it is rebooting by looking at the frames/images. Any ideas of what it might be?

It is continuous record. And I can replay and see a full timeline but the camera appears to be perhaps rebooting. E.g. frame 1 shows a black screen (from playback), frame 2 shows the image - no IR, frame 3 shows the image - IR just fired up, frame 4 shows IR adjusting. This is at around 8.30PM.

Believe it or not, Hikvision supplied me with SADP codes generated from the XML files, so I'm all good now.

I would be too however you didn't default your NVR and lock yourself out of 7 cameras... ;)

Well it seems my IPC config file is not downloading. I think it is something to do with WebComponents and FF 52?...but I sure as hell know the password now as it is saved in my password manager.

I stupidly factory reset the NVR, so now there is no access to 7/10 cameras as I cannot recall the passwords for the life of me. The 7 cameras were eBay purchases. They worked fine until I reset the NVR.

Turns out that the NVR cannot see the cameras (authentication/bad password). So now I have 7 of these cameras which are grey market eBay specials. It would seem the only way I reset the password is via the XML file which I am sure I am not able to obtain through official Hikvision channels. Can...
