Hikvision DS-2CD6332FWD-IS Fish Eye Firmware issue.

Return the camera, its faulty. We've installed a few of these in the last 12 months and got 2 of that model with that firmware and they cannot be updated. There is also an issue where the audio doesn't work. Hikvision remoted in to look at the first one of these we reported issues with and...

POE switch and POE injectors. Questions.

It depends on the PTZ you are using. Most of the smaller PTZ cameras use less than 15 watts but the bigger PTZ Hikvisions for example use alot more, especially when the IR's are in use. In which case you would have no option only to use an injector. What PTZ are you installing ?

    signal loss

We've been seeing this the last 9 months or so with various Hik cams and various firmware versions so I don't think its related to the latest firmware release. So far we're thinking its PoE related within the cams after ruling out the NVR and switch. Can't say for sure but they always come...

the type of upgrade file mismatches - Anyone seen this error before ?

This evening I'm trying to upgrade 6 x 2CD2332-I turret cams from v5.3 to v5.4 Every time I try to upload the firmware file it goes from 0% to 99% and then throws that message. Have re-downloaded the firmware a couple of times to rule out corrupt download but no luck. All cams are genuine...

Updated NVR firmware published - NVR_78_79_EXX_V3.4.80_160718.zip

In 3.4.80 is anyone else getting only 1 image attachment in the email alerts ? Just noticed that the attached photo is now full size but there is only 1, whereas on 3.4.62 and previous it was always 3 images attached

Are you referencing the I2 or the E2 ? We have 6 x I2's in the field using 3.4.62 that don't have the gmail problem, SSH works and the additional playback controls are the same. I can't comment on PTZ linkage or format conversion.

I don't see any real advantages to going from 3.4.62 to 3.4.80 on the I2, interfaces are the same, its not fixing anything that I have noticed broken in the I2 or adding in any significant new features. Just a personal view but we haven't bothered to upgrade any client units from .62 to .80

Display time going backwards on Hikvision DS-2CD2T32-I5

Both camera and NVR are Hikvision so it will be using Hiks own protocol not ONVIF. Its a potential possibility but if they weren't syncing I would assume the time would be just wrong, instead of the seconds going backwards and forwards in an erratic loop.

Display time going backwards on Hikvision DS-2CD2T32-I5

So I'm having the weirdest issue on one of my client cams, can't figure it out and have never seen the issue before. I get an alert that the camera has gone offline, so I login and see that it is actually online. But when I look at the display time the time is going backwards, then it stops and...

    Hikvision DS-2DF8236I-AEL PTZ

I've installed 2 of these for clients now and the auto tracking won't track a car and read its licence plate. Auto tracking is mediocre at best, on a windy night, rain, leaves etc will have it following and zooming in everywhere no matter how you configure intrusion detection or the region of...

    Hikvision DS-2DF8223I-AEL Pixelation issue

Yeah it does, its frame and bitrate match the main stream. Surely 6144 is enough for a 2mp ptz ?? What I can't understand is why its only when the camera is moving. I mean even a tiny movement causes it to pixelate. For example today a van drove into the loading area, camera tracked it across...

    Hikvision DS-2DF8223I-AEL Pixelation issue

Changed it to 15 for both a few hours ago and am just checking the playback now and its still the same. I really can't figure this one out. When the camera isn't moving the picture is crystal clear day and night. The minute it starts tracking a car or person it gets all blocky

Updated NVR firmware published - NVR_78_79_EXX_V3.4.80_160718.zip

Today I tested DS-7608NI-I2 8P and a DS-7716NI-I4-16P and can confirm both have this problem in playback for the 4mp cams but not the 3mp cams I have. This was a problem in v3.4.6 and v3.4.62 so its not specific to just v3.4.80

Updated NVR firmware published - NVR_78_79_EXX_V3.4.80_160718.zip

Thanks, that did the trick. Never really thought before about the browser cache where Hik was concerned. So 2 days in and the DS-7608NI-I2 is working normally with v3.4.80 apart from a little sluggish playback
