Im torn between the VR Zoom Dome or the Turrent for the camera's facing the door entrances. I think the sweet spot on either will be around 4mm range regardless. I like the VR Dome just to how it *looks*. Very compact, subtle, not in your face..... Are the new Turrents that much better in IR...

He says his tester is testing it fine....aka, simple continuity test. So there's no mismatch. More the plug or the camera OP. Do a simple test. Take a factory made patch cord. Hook it up. Does it look fine then. If not, deduce to the port on the camera

Could be a bad port on the camera. ? Is the connector you're using matches the wire you are using (aka, solid wire, solid rated connector)

Intersting POV from the cctv side of things....is SOP to just crimp heads on all installs ? Even let's say on installs where you have a J box and you would typically run liquidtight to the camera . I'm going with Dahua cams and they seem to offer a plethora of mounts *round and gooseneck mounts*
