hikvision NVR cant view on spss or app only browser

Did you enable Hik-Connect on the NVR GUI? I had this problem when I switched Hik NVRs after a few years, had to relearn all the steps and this was one small step that I overlooked and drove me nuts for a bit

    Hikvision NVR vs Blue Iris

I'm using a DS-7608NI-K2/8, and i agree with having to get the mouse out to view events directly from the NVR sucks. But as of late i've been using IVMS-4200 from my PC and have been messing around with event view from there, and its actually impressed me, I can now view every time a...

    New Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2 / P8 beeps tortured

Yes, that is how it typically sounds. It is terrible, sounds like equipment is dying a horrible death, but its normal. I have the same Hik NVR as you, and a DS-7604-NI/K1 and they both make that exact sound when no HDD is installed, makes me cringe.

    Voltage drop from microphone

follow up, i realized my problem. I took what @alastairstevenson said and checked the camera only plugged into the splitter and it still wouldn't turn on (no mic attached). I looked into the splitter i was using (it was given to me with some access points, had no markings or part number), and...

    Voltage drop from microphone

i did check and polarity was coming from the splitter correctly, i should add that i was using this type of connector off of the splitter with this type of plug running power to the camera, and i terminated the power and ground wire for the microphone along with the wires for the camera at the...

    Voltage drop from microphone

Recently connected a Hikvision DS-2FP2020 microphone to my Hik DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 camera, using a POE splitter i was trying to power both the camera and microphone off the same run of network cable connected to the NVR DS-7608NI-I2/8P. After everything was connected, i checked the status of my...

So this happened the other night

i realized my wyze cam that i have set up indoors to monitor my cats had a view of a tall window where she ran to in front of my vehicle so i decided to check the picture on that too, she clearly came up to that window and looked in real fast, but what was most interesting was that it recorded...

So this happened the other night

i definitely think she was coming down off something, seems like she ran up to my door with expectations of it being unlocked like it was some place familiar to her, then started to connect the dots and realized "something is different". What blows my mind is how quickly this took place, i was...

So this happened the other night

First craziness I've caught on camera since install. I've since relocated front door camera, and adjusted shutter speeds on several cameras after going over these videos countless times... Enjoy

    Thinking of a new nvr

one thing to take into consideration: your NVR supports decoding of up to 6 cameras at 1080p resolution each https://us.hikvision.com/sites/default/files/data_sheet/10381_vsds7600nieseries100115us.pdf(combined total of 12,441,600 pixels). if you're running all 8 cameras at max resolution (4mp)...

Moisture/rain in camera ir and lens

i had a similar problem, my hikvision turret cameras were down for 4 months before i could power them back up, and within a few days of powering them up, they developed moisture in the lens and ir led after the first foggy morning. I disconnected power, took them down, pulled off the micro sd...

    Help understanding

talking on this, I use a Hikvision NVR and i can run the IVMS app on my Nvidia Shield console to view camera feeds from my couch. I'm sure someone here would know if there is a tv app you could use for BI or a Dahua NVR. Heck, i imagine it wont be long before "Works with Alexa" is a topic title...
