I'll check the cameras as well... all items came from Andy a week ago, I'm pretty sure the firmwares are all up to date. Good advice on the config backup.. will do that for sure

Just due to the fact that I set the system up over the past weekend... I did do just about all settings locally, but as I am reading and learning often from work during the day I was trying to hop in and make some changes...

Not sure what I could be doing wrong by simply navigating to the encode section via local nvr, then navigating to encode section remotely via web and observing settings to be different

so then nothing I am necessarily doing wrong.. or a known issue/fix? Too late on the standalone PC vs NVR.. that is a done deal at this point.
