Correct. The cert that stunnel created is not recognized as a public valid cert. So most browsers will show this. The blue iris data steam is still encrypted though. For sites that you shop on or have other sensitive info that would be a reason for concern.

I figured out how to get mine working. You need to enable PTZ within BI for the camera (even if the camera doesn't have PTZ). As well as don't delete the BI blank 'admin' account it creates. I can get it working on the inside/outside the LAN.

When I purchased mine, I IM'ed the store owner before I made the purchase to ask if and when they will have it in stock.

There is no space on the backside of the base for the pigtail of connections. So either you put in a junction box, drill a hole and route the cable in the hole, or simply have it coming out to the side exposed.

The housing is plastic, I believe the base it metal as its the same color and 'thumps' the same way as junction box (DS-1280ZJ-DM18)

Played with a bit more, I noticed on the iPhone apps that get no sound (as in no sound output on the camera) when using the stunnel port (even on same LAN), but I get the garbled sound using the BI web server port.

Thanks for the responses. I had left the audio input on the PC unchecked, as well you need to enabled PTZ in the cameras to show the audio controls (even if the camera doesn't support PTZ). With those 2 items changed, the Audio is great (coming from the PC). Still not sure why whats up with...

I can get the Mic on the camera working (I can hear audio) on both the PC and iPhone app. But I cannot 'speak' to the camera in Blue Iris using the iPhone app. It works if I logged into the camera directly. Does Blue Iris support 2 way audio in the Iphone App? I can't figure out how talk to...
