Awesome, now I see how to reference your guide and the correlation on firmware versions, so the IPC_XX or IPD_XX matches the version property listed on the camera settings page?
Nice job on finding this!
Question, anyway of knowing that a OEM Supplier of HIK USA firmware is patched?
I contacted our reseller we've purchased many CompanyBrand(Hikvision) cameras from but their serials and model numbers are different that ones listed on the CVE. They told me that their...
Is there anyway to have BlueIris rebuild the database while also recording? incase this thing long than the weekend it would be nice to have it record while its regenerating the db.
Yep, lol
Auto rebuild, is that the compact/repair db every night? Just wondering where I should disable this and then what is the best method then to get BlueIris to know about all the clips.
I'll go ahead and change the settings for the 1hr clips, that makes sense because copying/managing all these...
So i've got around 200,000 video files and it took almost 36hours to rebulid/repair. I need to add another 200,000 files back as are retention is 200 days of video recordings. Anyways to speed up this process?
I notice BlueIris is only using around 25% cpu and doing this causing a recording...
Hello,
Is it possible to view the playback video from the date for all cameras? Trying to find a way to show all cameras had some type of motion on a specfic time instead of view camera by camera.
Thanks!
Hello,
So for some reason after our upgrade to v5 our DB maintenance kicked off again and caused issues with the DB. We previously had the maintenance disabled because our stored videos are so old.
We currently have about 31TB of stored video and when searching for video in the past it would...

Thanks @fenderman
@fenderman The DB is on the C: which is SSD, yes each clilp is a separate file for motion triggers. We where in the mid 80% cpu usage with 26 cameras and are moving a few to a different DVR server and are now down for 45%.
Should I attempt to leave it on and database compact or just not even...
Needing some help with the compact/repair database task. It starts at 10:30pm and now stops at almost 3pm.
Not sure what to do to keep it up to date or do I just leave it off?
Database is on C drive, raid 1
New - D drive - 1 day move to stored
Stored - D drive - max of 53TB
Any ideas if...
I was going crazy trying to figure this out, thanks for the post. Had the same issue with an Axis M3045-V, turned of the Hardware Acceleration and it picked up the feed.
Hello,
I was wondering if its possible to have BlueIris rescan and update the database for old clips. For example we built a new BlurIris server and I restored the default config but not the database as it had new cameras recording. Anyways it would be nice to have the old videos shown up in...
