Yeah, also found that. This would require pretty beefy computer, but I'll look into this :)

Hikvision Panovu DS-2CD6924G0-IHS image distortion help

Sorry, I was a bit unclear. That setup was just for testing and apparently the results were not too good :/ For the streaming we cannot use VLC, it will be some hw solution like ATEM MIni Pro, but it does not have any such correction. I would be very interested in something that would have :)

Yes, saw that. This particular model does not have that :/ So, nothing I can do, I suppose?

Hikvision Panovu DS-2CD6924G0-IHS image distortion help

We're tinkering with a super robust streaming setup for our airdome. The circumstances are really challenging to say the least, so we got us a Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS . Unfortunately the lens distortion seems to be pretty bad and evident, since the borders n the field make it really stand...

DAHUA IP PRO-AI 8MPX: any way to reduce the ghosting behind moving objects?

Yes, I tested with various faster shutter speeds. It seems 4ms is pretty good compromise regarding the amount of light and speed :) Yeah, that seems to add some halo, thanks for the tip :) I'm running CBR. All in all the settings are now pretty good. I actually changed the stream to be 4K...

DAHUA IP PRO-AI 8MPX: any way to reduce the ghosting behind moving objects?

Thank you for the replies :) It's the "halo", I guess. You can see a screenshot below, although it's not so obvious compared to a video clip. The screenshot is so tiny as I just wanna keep things "safe" and not post any recognisable stuff, since nowadays it's kinda risky. I've played with the...

DAHUA IP PRO-AI 8MPX: any way to reduce the ghosting behind moving objects?

Lowering the gain helped quite a bit, thank you! :) There's still little "haze" around moving objects, I really don't know if there's anything to make it better still. The Iris, Exposure compensation etc. settings seems to affect the picture quite a bit also. Would you happen yo have any hints...

DAHUA IP PRO-AI 8MPX: any way to reduce the ghosting behind moving objects?

Hi all. We are streaming live kids football from an airdome. The setting is kinda challenging, because the distance between the camera and the farthest corner of the airdome is circa 70m, it's sub-zero temps during the winter when there are no football practice, walls are very close the the...

    Live preview wrong stream?

Hi. It actually seems that a reboot solved the issue. Really wicked :) Now I was able to see the correct live stream from all cameras! Thank you all for your help :)

    Live preview wrong stream?

OK, here goes, although this is really hard to explain anyway... Here are all the cameras and as you can see the Virtual server is enabled (there are direct links to the cameras): I click the second lowest camera in the list and get to the camera login page and I log in: I then see the...

Ok, I'll drive to the facility and take some screenies :)

    Live preview wrong stream?

Sorry, can't get the screenies right now. I'll try to explain in detail: 1. I log into the NVR. I go to camera management. I click on the link that leads me to that particular cameras login page (I have the Virtual server option enabled). I login into the camera. In the live preview windows the...

    Live preview wrong stream?

Running a Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A/ and 7 Hikvision cameras. This is a new installation, which I have been very satisfied with. Now when I tried to set the event areas I ran into a weird problem: No matter what camera I log in to (via the virtual server link in the nvr gui), the live preview...

Questions concerning merging old + new cameras/nvr

Thank you alastairstevenson for the reply. My cams are from a big reseller of network gear, so I'd say the cams are not hacked. Indeed I could access the cams vie the "virtual host" and typing the admin password of the nvr itself. Now everything is good again :) Would there be any possibility...
