I've since stopped using the mixture of the two schedules and avoid going to the configuration on the iVMS-4200 (PCNVR) at all costs. Never did get a fix in place beyond that.
Thanks. Going to be looking directly at it with regular frequency, so I thought I might try as much. At first I was thinking about taking a larger PVC pipe and finding a way to get it sliced lengthwise to contain all the pigtails. This worked out much better.
Just wanted to share with you the great external enclosure I found at Home Depot that perfectly fit the DS-2CD2532F-IS

I'm a home renter, so I attempt to keep things as nondestructive as possible. This enclosure (Wiremold V5737, painted to match the...
There should've certainly be a Hikvision sticker at the base of the camera around the area where the cord connects with the base (containing serial number, firmware version, etc). It's my observation that the audio issue is only a problem for cameras that leave the factory in Chinese using...
@brian.rtl -- your camera itself has a sticker showing firmware greater than 5.2.0 though, right? This seems to be the easiest way to identify if you'll have audio problems or not. Both sticker and firmware must be 5.2.0
If the firmware on the sticker on the back of the camera is greater than 5.2.0 and you've got English menus, doubtful you'll get any audio. I've had to send back half a dozen from different vendors for the same issues until I received one with 5.2.0 firmware (as indicated on the camera's...
This must be temperature-related. I'm living in Vegas, so the temps recently haven't really gone below the mid-40s (F) at night in recent weeks. By mid-day yesterday the camera was back to normal, and again pink this morning. Seems like a mechanical defect.
2532 - Day mode turned pink - stuck IR filter?
Camera has been running since mid-October, then awoke today to find that when it came out of night mode this morning the hue of the image was off. Settings are as they were yesterday and reboot hasn't resolved the issue (nor has toggling...
So I downloaded what's being labeled as the client and did indeed have it link up as such to the PCNVR running within the network. This was the same process as the Android app.
Oddly, the "client" software is attempting to run as a webserver as well, and appears to have a more refined version...
The page you linked to is "Hikvision iVMS-4200 v2.02.00.04 (Windows)" -- is that actually the PC-NVR? HK seems to go out of their way to make this as unintuitive as possible. I pulled my version off of the FTP site.
