Uniview dual camera on dahua xvr

It’s a late response, but you will need to use RTSP on the second channel. Uniview has the RTSP address on their website. Look for the section labeled sensor 2, or something like that. You’ll need to use/create a custom protocol on your nvr to input the RTSP address. Use this custom protocol on...

Dual Sensor Camera To IPCT NVR

I have heard of others using this cam via RTSP, but I was really hoping to have ptz control through the app. channel 1 is the wide angle and is picked up through ONVIF, the ptz cam lies in channel 2. I haven’t looked, but I don’t think I can reassign the channels on the camera….if I can, it...

Dual Sensor Camera To IPCT NVR

I have an IPCT-8064-8P (hikvision) NVR that I would like to connect a Uniview dual lens camera. The camera has two channels (wide angle & PTZ) on a single IP. Hikvision states that their nvr will not support 3rd party dual sensor cameras. Only hikvision. 3rd party camera will get channel 1...

    Can’t Log Into Uniview Camera

Oddly enough. I was able to get right in this evening. I have no idea why it would not take the other day. ‍

    Can’t Log Into Uniview Camera

I have not. I will certainly try this evening.

    Can’t Log Into Uniview Camera

123456 i was able to set the ip in eztools without entering the password, but did not attempt to log in. After it was connected to the nvr is when I tried to login unsuccessfully. Not sure if there’s any impact, but while adding the camera to the nvr (hik rebrand) the “use camera activation...

    Can’t Log Into Uniview Camera

I have a Uniview IPC9312LFW-AF28-2X4 which I cannot log into via eztools 2.0 The camera was just recently unboxed to be used with a hikvision based ipcam talk store nvr (PCT-6084k-8P). Eztools was used to change the ip address of the camera to match the NVR, it was connected to the nvr and...

Daylight saving hour change, all OK for you?

Lots of kids are on the school bus pre-dawn even with dst. But it would be “darker” without it. People drive all hours of the day as is. Here in PA, the sun was mostly down by 5:15. In late December, it’s dark at 4:30pm. I’m all for getting rid of it.

    DST time-travel fun....

My NVR is also whacked out. While trying to playback any time from this AM, it will load video from 1 hour earlier. If I type in 11:00am, video will be 10:00. If I try to scroll times on the app, it goes haywire. I don’t recall this issue last year, but don’t remember if I had DST adjust...

Dual sensor/Dome located in weather exposed area

This hood looks like it would protect a vertical mounted camera well. I could nest the dahua up in there well as long as IR halo isn’t an issue. I could always run illuminators external. Not sure how well this would cover over the horizontal wall mount. The mounting arm would require greater...

Dual sensor/Dome located in weather exposed area

Is there a dual sensor turret style body that I’m not aware of? As I’ve been looking, I’ve only seen domes. I have a PTZ under a soffit. So far there has been minimal rain issues and the lens glare is minor from white light. This new location will definitely get the brunt of weather.

Dual sensor/Dome located in weather exposed area

Looking to replace an existing bullet cam with a dual sensor camera. Camera is located on the side of a house with pretty much 100% exposure to weather. I have 2 concerns: rain on the dome & glare/reflection from nearby flood lights on neighbors property. Would a vertically mounted camera with...

    Vertical Mount PTZ?

Yeah. I know. It just sucks that the form factor of most PTZ are so off putting. It seems like a relatively simple design tweak to permit vertical placement. A dual sensor hadn’t crossed my mind as I was really hoping to find a PTZ to fit my needs. I will scope them out as it may be my best option.

    Vertical Mount PTZ?

Yes, exactly what I’m hoping to do. I wasn’t thinking properly with the -5° tilt. Your right, it’s towards the base. For me to get any downward (greater than 90°) view, I would need to install the camera upside down. I’m not sure if image can be “flipped” to provide the correct orientation or...

    Vertical Mount PTZ?

I would like to wall mount (vertically) a compact PTZ. The camera location is on my front porch about 9’ above grade, 7’ above porch floor level. 3’ horizontal I understand that tilt will be a limitation and most offer a 0°-90°range. The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE is specified to have a -5°...
