Hi , does anyone know if there is a way to view a Hikvision NVR HDD via a PC, What I mean is ... can I remove the HDD from the NVR , place into a PC and using some sort of viewer program , view the video .?? . Cheers

Hi , I have push notifications setup on some cameras , what I would like to do Is set up NVR so it only sends push alerts from say 6pm to 6am.. 1. Is this possible ? I see that there is 'Arming Schedule' in smart event. help very much appreciated . Playbox

Okay , worked out the latest ver..has option for hik-connect ...only problem seems to run much slower I guess that'S the cloud for you.

Hi guys , I also got reply for Hik support today saying they have found & patched the problem on their server. So looks like I’m getting all push notifications pop up on my phone.. so far so good.

Hi , I currently have similar problems with hik-connect..I.e only get approx 50% of notifications pop up.. but once in app all the notifications are there. Wonder what devices & IOS are you guys using ? I'm using a SE iphone , same as I phone 6 / with ver 11.2.2

Mmmm sticker under unit shows DS-7604NI-E1/4p. SADP - it's really a DS-7604N-E1/4P. So I'm guessing can't do a firmware update ?

Hi have used SADP to access serial & try to reset password on NVR , using the hikvision password reset tool... Have tried both both ways, with &'without model number at start of serial.. Year , month , day all correct ... Comes back with password (failed to reset password. Other 2001) Any...

Thanks for that.. So I would only be able to recover via the serial console, with the correct firmware.... ?
