Does anybody use a SSD instead of HDD in a NVR? Is it feasible for 24/7 recording? I heard that the issue with SSDs is/was that they have a limited lifespan in terms of data writes. Looking something for recording 4x 4MP cameras.

There does not seem to be such firmware in that forum. There's one from 1123, but for a very different camera.

Which camera should I be looking for? I have IPC-T5442TM-AS from Andy. I see only firmware 210403 here IPC-HDW5442TM-ASE

Seriously, Dahua has some 8mp 1/1.8" cameras, but they are expensive compared to Hikvision ones WizMind Series On the other hand, Hikvision does not have IR version of full color cameras like Dahua 5442.
