    Is this for Echo Show or an Echo Dot? I'm dying to get a straightforward way of announcing when doorbell is pressed with the Dots I have in each room of my house. If you're having success with getting notifications on Dots I'd love to know more

    Is your setup what you were mentioning where IFTTT triggers HA to trigger Echo? My impression was there wasn't a way for IFTTT to use doorbell presses, but only the PIR motion detection?

    That was my hope, but I can't even get the service to connect let alone get it to send any sort of notification. Seems such an obvious feature that Ezviz are missing.

    Ahhh ok, I misinterpreted. When you said you had the Alexa notification working, I thought you meant all the way from Doorbell to HA to Alexa, but now understanding you meant just from HA to Alexa, correct?
