I have two of the ipc-hdw2231R-zs cameras and I've tried to download your link below and the file was deleted, is there another firmware update that I cant seem to locate or a new link?

Good morning, I have been updating the firmware of my HDW5231RZ starlights this morning, but when it csame to do my bullet camera and mini-dome and (dual mini dome) they would not display the model number in the config tool, or the IP camera login page under general. Ii just says "IP Camera"...
It seems to have settled down even lower now with the most noticeable difference in the night video processing where it was alway around 35%. Cpu but is now under 20% on average. Those readings were just before it got dark but very overcast.

Iva also noticed that CPU usage varies alot from daytime to night time on both systems, I'm sure there is a very good reason for that but I haven't really searched for that answer yet :) probably easier to process colour images or something, not sure..
I've got two Blue iris systems running in different locations, my home setup is a dell 7020 with an i7-4790 and my shop is the same mini tower wnd MB with the i5-4570.
My shop is running 6 dahua 2MP starlights (Thanks @EMPIRETECANDY) and home has 9 of the same cams with significantly less...
Just did my install and it seemed to go well, haven’t tested the UI server remotely but my iPhone app works great and all my settings transferred over. The interface has a much different color scheme but the layout is similar once I realize the alerts are just flipped.

Awesome, thanks for that. I got it working with port forwarding though the two routers and also created a ddns account so I can access it online anytime from a desktop.

I have opened or created a port forwarding rule on his router already to point to the BI server on my router, but are you saying I need to open a port to my router and THEN my BI server?
Or will it see my BI server if I just open the port to the shop router on the main Router?
