Yeah, like I said, the i7 4790k is pretty good. the other one I depolyed is an i7-8700k with 16 cameras, running 30pfs on all 16 cameras, and it is barely doing anything. I was just curious if it was worth trying to use that R710, or just get anohter 8700k or something else?

The problem is, is that there are a couple cameras in the garage, which has very little light... so when the IR is off, I get black video... I can't script when the door will be open, or closed... so yeah... I'll just have to be cautious about it :)

So... I was developing a "camera viewer" to display a bunch of camera feeds (sub streams) on an office TV... but that became an issue with the DLL i found (has a memory leak). Anyways, I thought after spending about 5 hours coding, and researching... that for $60 I could have just bought BI...

So, this is the case here... the cameras that weren't working with HA enabled, were the SPECO O2MD2 cameras... we use quite a few of them... so I had to set them to not using the HA, and all is well. The 18 cameras that use HA, have reduced the CPU load by about 15-20%... going to play around...

We have some HIK cameras, that you can turn on/off the IR with the button in BI. But, in doing that, it changes the cameras DEFAULT on/off settings, so it won't turn back on again autmatically. How can I disable the IR on/off button??
