D'oh! I have to say, the camera is awesome. Bought it off Andy's amazon store. But don't do what I did and not pay attention to the focal length. The low field of view really killed it for me. Wish I didn't overlook that. Gonna have to sell it off now. -

Local governance can be real dicks. I live in NYC and shit here is just insane. Literally everything requires a permit and too many property rules. Why? Whether Trump or Biden, no one should be stealing other people's property. People should be able to defend their stuff.- Tsikura

Ah. I don't know the legality on that then. The guy sending the employee over should have gone and done it himself then. Looking at other articles online, it looks like they do it all the time and they leave the sign on the property.- Tsikura

He wasn't stealing the sign though. He was a city employee told to move/remove the sign because it was violating easement laws. Poor guy really didn't deserve it. He wasn't doing it out of malice.- Tsikura

Are you running the ethernet yourself? He meant to just drill a small hole through the cement/grout between each brick to pass the cable. Don't drill the brill itself. -

The camera comes with a small thin metal plate that you stick to wherever you want to place the camera. Then you just lock the camera itself with the 3 screws underneath to the metal plate. I had the chance to put up my PTZ over the weekend and I am happy as heck. Still gotta play and... -

Make sure you try a different browser. What's the firmware version on your version? As far as I recall, there is no save button for most settings. It just automatically does it. If you're having issues, try going to Default (under defog) and reset the backlight settings there. Then see if... -

Great. Exposure settings won't stick on this camera. edit: Scratch that. Fixed by setting exposure to default. This pic going to be stretched since I'm not too worried about it right now. Darn cat staring into the IR of evil. -
