Yes i looked up the model. The "C" in the serial no. (images) just put me off. i have other cams by Hik ( English and upgradable) but there SN were all numbers no "C" at the start. I was hoping someone here who have this particular model if they can confirm that theirs contain a C or not

Sorry i was only reporting test mail feature on NVR which worked but i noticed under cam config test mail did not work. I had TLS and ENableSTARTTLS enabled. And NO TLS option after FW update on NVR

During playback i am not seeing any motion markings.Let me add also that all my cams are on the latest firmware v5.40 . And on cam settings under email they all have the option to select TLS and Enable STARTTLS which i both selected on port 587. But after the latest nvr update i notice these...

Update: test email on nvr works. I am getting the test email in my gmail account. But on cam settings test email failed. Not sure why

Hey i updated my DS-7608NI E2/8p to v3.480 and it fixed the email issue

Just updated my nvr to v3.480 from Hik Euro. I have a DS-7608NI-E2/8p. So straight away I tested email and it works. I guess this update fixed the email issue in gmail
