I don't have an NVR, connecting to the cameras directly. Fixed IP addresses. No idea what "initialized ip cams" means. I can view and control the cameras in Tiny Cams Pro on Android.
It works perfectly from Tiny Cams Pro (android) and Easyptz (windows). The credentials and address are good.
And yes adding with an IP (a lan ip, and yes I'm inside the lan).
I just installed it. Are you sure it works with Dahua cameras? It seems to only work with cameras made by Lmou Life.
If it works with other cameras, what device model do you choose while setting up the camera?
I found DMSS:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dmss/id1493268178
And it almost works. Well even. I got one camera entered, all set. But when I go to enter the next camera, which has the same settings but a different ip#, it says "login timeout" and then won't save the camera info.
I don't...
I miss Live Cams Pro for iOS! If anyone knows of a good replacement, let me know.
I'm trying to set up a friend's iPad to be able to control a Dahua PTZ camera and using iDMSS and wow is this program terrible. But I know it works, I was able to successfully install a camera on it once, but I...
Good idea, could simulate a mouse event.
Would be nice if it had the option to just disable Timeout, as some Dahua cameras do. I'm wondering if it does but it's just not accessible in the GUI. Or maybe I'm just not finding it yet.
I see that on some Dahua cameras it's possible to extend the login time of the web interface by going to Main Menu-Setting-System-General-General---set Auto Logout to 0. But apparently that doesn't work on the D49225T-HN, there's no option for "auto logout".
I don't imagine anyone has a clever...
I'm setting up a camera at a friend's place, and she has an iPhone and Macbook. I'm striking out on finding her decent apps for both.
For iOS I used to use Live Cams Pro, but alas RIP. So I tried IPCams, which sort of works but it wants to charge $30/year for PTZ controls! I also tried iDMSS...
Here's a sample of the zoom:
The people in the distance are about a mile and a half away. Pretty amazing to me. It's been rock solid without any reboots since I installed it about a month ago and is still kicking after some really hard rain.
A big jump over new too, those were $350 new shipped.
I'm hoping to get way more than that out of them. Time will tell of course. I'm hoping the fact that they weren't using PTZ in their previous life will help.
Would be interesting to see some comparison videos between the SD49225T-HN and...
