Im using a machine with dual displays. I have display one connected to a monitor and the other display is connected to a tv thru hdmi.

The problem is the console wont stay running. I have the blueiris set to run as a service when windows starts up. And a startup the gui after one minute of boot. The console starts but sometime thru out the day it will just quit. If i start it back it might stay running the rest of the day or it might quit multiple times.

Does anyone run theres all the time like this? Is this normal?

I usually have the console open for 12+ hour stretches and it is rock-solid.

You might look in Windows' Event Viewer (Windows Logs > Application) to see if the console is crashing.

Brad2388,

What console are you talking about. I would like to learn more. Is it the BI tool?

I have a monitor (for set up) and a 32in TV (for display in the kitchen) connected to the BI computer.

I never had the service works . I have it checked with hope that if the computer restarts/resets, BI will turn itself on ---> not working.

I have the BI Tool installed with watchdog enabled ---> not working.

After a while, I did not come back to play around with such service anymore.

Well my service works. Its actually running and can access it from our phones and what not.

The console or gui is whats not staying running.

I even have it checked also and blueiris tools running also.

I have sent a message to bluriris so hopefully they will get back at me about it.

Have you looked for errors in the Windows event log yet?
In BI are you recording direct to disk?
Are you using hardware acceleration for Intel processors, are you using the correct driver, that does not leak ?
What version of Windows are you using ?
Take a look at the widows Task manager over time and look a the memory and cpu usage of the bi processes.

does it only do this when running as a service? have you tried disabling run as a service and leaving the console open?
