Best PTZ camera on Newegg?

So I just build a SFF pc and ended up returning some stuff and have $120 store credit at Newegg.

I'd like to get a PTZ camera that i can mount to a pole right outside the window the SFF is setup. Itll monitor the front yard and driveway. I have a separate system watching everything already, but want to try out a PTZ cam.

So ill throw in say another ~$200 on top of the store credit. ~$300 total budget....

The Dahua are $378 and ship from china...

Id like to order from US if possible...

Id like to run this cam on blue iris or something like it. Maybe connect it to the SFF? Not sure, kinda new to this. Ive been eading through the cliff notes, just soaking in the info.

Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I already have hd's... just need a camera and mounting etc...

Having experience with numerous Chinese vendors - I now have less trust of random Chinese vendors, thus I would certainly see if there is anything else you can buy from NewEgg instead of purchasing from the chinese vendors at NewEgg market place and look at picking up the Dahua OEM starlight PTZ from Andy whom I trust more.

Perhaps you need a nice 24" monitor? ( ASUS VA249HE 23.8" $100 )
or a couple of Amcrest ProHD 1080P wifi cameras ( PT ) ( $55 each - Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi Camera 2MP (1920TVL) Indoor Pan/Tilt Security Wireless IP Camera IP2M-841B (Black) - Newegg.com )
or RAM? or SSD?

I just spoke with Newegg customer support, they 100% assured their vendor provides OEM products and they stand behind them. Their approved vendor list and audit process prevents this type of stuff from happening.

Has anyone bought this camera or brand from newegg?

Do check the price from Andy, and remember while Newegg gives 100% assurance.. that does not include warranty and support, only that they are selling the product as described.

The Dahua SD59225U-HNI 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ is a better choice than the DH-SD49225T-HN. The reason I mentioned the purple hard drive is because recording video writes a lot to the drive
and standard drives don't hold up.

I agree, i have a couple 1tb purple hds and a few blue, which btw work just as well....

I can definitely say i dont want a fixed or a dome cam... The other is much much more money than the one i mentioned...

I dont think i really need anything to pair with it suggestions?

Going to be really simple for the ptz... nothing special....

Im curious though, can they be on a scan/tour and when motion is detected switch to autotrack?
